PREM400 : Download Instructions
  1. PREM400 will run on Operating System V4R4M0 upwards.
  2. Click on 'DOWNLOAD PREM400' and download the file to your local PC / network.
  3. You will now have a save file called prem400.svf.
  4. Enter this command on your AS/400 : CRTSAVF YOURLIB / PREM400.
  5. Go to directory on your PC / network containing prem400.svf.
  6. Type FTP xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx (your AS/400 IP address) and press Enter.
  7. When FTP has started, type the following, pressing Enter after each line:                      
  8. ftp> Your AS/400 user profile name
  9. ftp> Your password.
  10. ftp> BINARY
  11. ftp> PUT prem400.svf YOURLIB / prem400
  12. ftp> quit
  13. Enter these AS/400 commands:

          RSTLIB SAVLIB( PREM400 ) DEV( *SAVF ) SAVF( YOURLIB / PREM400 )

          ADDLIBLE PREM400

          PREM400 (or P4) to start.

PREM400 : Data Update Instructions

  1. Click on 'DOWNLOAD DATA UPDATE' and download the file to your local PC / network.
  2. You will now have a save file called premdta.svf.
  3. Enter this command on your AS/400 : CRTSAVF YOURLIB / PREMDTA.
  4. Go to directory on your PC / network containing premdta.svf.
  5. Type FTP xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx (your AS/400 IP address) and press Enter.
  6. When FTP has started, type the following, pressing Enter after each line:
  7. ftp> Your AS/400 user profile name
  8. ftp> Your password.
  9. ftp> BINARY
  10. ftp> PUT premdta.svf YOURLIB / premdta
  11. ftp> quit
  12. Enter these AS/400 commands:

          RSTOBJ OBJ( *ALL ) SAVLIB( PREM400 ) DEV( *SAVF ) SAVF( YOURLIB / PREMDTA ) RSTLIB ( YOURLIB )

          Now go into the PREM400 update screen, press F21, enter YOURLIB, *YES  and press return.
